Recreation guides for Enoggera Reservoir, Gold Creek Reservoir and Lake Manchester are now available

Quote
Dear Stakeholder,

On Tuesday the 4th of March 2014, the Recreation Guides for Enoggera Reservoir, Gold Creek Reservoir and Lake Manchester were released. Seqwater has also released the Recreation Management Plan for these lakes.

These documents have been produced after extensive community consultation. Recreation users, local council, local members of parliament, Government departments and the broader community were asked to provide input on what recreational opportunities they would like to see on and around these lakes.

To download a copy of the Recreation Management Plan and Recreation Guides for these three lakes, please visit the Seqwater website. The Recreation Management Plan provides details of the outcomes of the review and implementation timeframes. Each Recreation Guide provides a summary of permitted activities and information regarding proposed changes.

We thank all persons and organisations for their contribution to the review of these lakes.

Kind regards,
The Recreation Review Team

Good to see Lake Manchester will be opened to kayaking & fishing in the future. All we need now is for someone to stock it.

Cheers Andrew

FFSAQ will get right on it..........   ::)

But, to be serious only way it will happen is if one of the current local groups takes it on.

Excuse my ignorance, but is there any naturally occurring fish population in Manchester at the moment?
