Tenterfield Dart Lures
« on: March 22, 2016, 11:54:49 AM »
Could anyone help me regarding Tenterfield Darts. I have several in reasonable condition and was wondering what they might be worth. One is red and black with black stripes. One is yellow and black with black stripes. One is green and black with black stripes. Another is bark green on top, light green under with black spots along the sides. All have red mouths.

I also have another lure from the same stable, but I do not know what it is called. I purchased it from the same supplies many years ago. Hope somebody knows what it is. It is 60mm in body length, is much flatter and wider than the Tenterfield darts but has the same colour pattern as the Darts in red and black. it has the same metal bib and wire pull point with the eyes underneath.

The third type that I have is also from the same maker. It is thinner and longer than the darts. It is 75mm long with a shallower (smaller) bib in metal, with two holes in the bib only. No wire pull point. In dark orange and black with spots along the side, also with the eyes underneath.

If any knows what I am talking about, I would really appreciate some help. Because I am sure by now you realise that I do not.

I am considering selling all of the above, but I an not in a hurry to do so.

Many Thanks

Cod54.

Darts  easily 125+   the green with spots could be 150+

The Flatter one... sounds like an Aussie... 200 +

If you could put a picture up it would help.
Condition is everything when it comes to pricing lures.
Would be interested if selling .
Cheers

No problem Paul ,
Sent you a pm also . A couple of the lures sound very much like Peter Newell lures and could be worth more than the Mcfeerters.
Have a good one cheers Tony
