An open apology to Deedi and Fisheries re " bastardry "post.
« on: November 25, 2011, 03:49:44 PM »
I wish to offer an open apology to all Deedi and fisheries staff and sincerely regret insulting your reputation.
I was informed that the information emanated from fisheries and have since found out that that information was incorrect.
It has taken me most of today to find the correct information.
I have tried to edit the header of the post but am unable to do so.
I have contacted the moderator of the forum to correct this matter.

It takes a big man to admit when he's made a mistake! Good one Ray. Can understand the situation tho, we all get protective of our sport and "our" fish.

I just feel so bad about the whole subject.
I am appalled at the lack of knowledge by sunfish the whole thing smelled of a spin exercise rather than something from a group who are supposed to be looking after out interests.
Sunfish really do have a big hole in their communication process of the 5 stocking groups that I am a member of only one ( the newest and smallest) saw fit to send the proposal to their members.
 Makes one wonder.
 Dont Care?
 Dont check their correspondence ?
Agree with all of the proposal?
 Cheers
Ray

Steady up Ray,
So far today, you've insulted Fisheries, SIP fee paying members of the public and now you're having a shot at the Stocking Groups.  You're shooting from the hip and spraying them all over the place, and you're a better person than that.  Keep your sights on the group at fault here.

I am on QAFCA's mailing list, supposedly, and I don't recall seeing that email.  However, as a volunteer stocking group member quite a lot of info from QAFCA is irrelevant.  Has anything come for FFSAQ?

Dale that is the strange thing nothing from FFsaq who usually on the ball with everything and are usually my prime source of info of what is going on around the traps.
So did it only go the The Ewan Maddock group.
The prfma are usually quick to pass things on.
When i was speaking to Jan she said that she had only got 3 emails today. I know that they all came as a result of my posts on fishing forums.
It really makes you wonder about the effectiveness of Sunfishes communication methods.
Did anyone other stocking groups, or people get a email ?
Cheers
Ray

Exactly why you should slow up on the accusationary posts Ray.  You don't know who got the email.  Some people work for a living and don't have the opportunity to peruse these things as closely as you.  Before you start blasting them, think a little bit.
