Thanks to jordo for the helpfull info on my prvious post.. There wasnt to much boat trafffic at the ramp at 8.am in the morning on sunday only had to wait for a few mins. It was like summer in cancun.  Chicks in bikinis everywhere.  and my four year old saying out loud why do those girls hardly have any cloths on. Ok this is a fishing wed site.  We  fished up in the timbers and the kids kept catching banded grunter. so we moved several times . to my surprise we didnt catch any talapia. The best fish of the day was my 7 year old who caught a 52cm tandanus it went real hard on 6 pound braid.  It was a good day although  i wish the wind would of been a bit stronger so it kept us in the same place while tied up to the trees. And they also enjoyed catching the gar up  there also.  Back at the ramp by 12 and not much of a wait to retreive the boat . A fun day out with the kids asleep for the drive home...

Glad ya had a good trip mate. Kids love catching anything hey, pest or not. After the floods all our local creeks were full of spangled perch. We would take the boys down tha paddock to the creek with a tin of worms and they'd have fun for hours catching and releasing them. Bugger the shags have got alot of them now. Good on ya mate anyway.
