The downward spiral begins....
« on: November 14, 2012, 06:27:51 PM »
The downward spiral has started lately. A little rain last week gave some reprieve but the trend is going towards consumption outstripping supply. This often bodes poorly for edge fishery lakes with weedbeds often disappearing when water levels drop.

Going to be a deep water summer bass season thru into winter if this keeps up.

It took us from the begining of time(that's a long time ago) to the early 1800's for the plant to reach 1 billion people, in other words thousands of years, we have had some nasty wars since then and plagues, droughts etc and today the worlds population stands at 7 billion......hang on, that can't be right...6 billion people in 200 years..the guy's in the white coats say we will reach 8 billion in the next 13 years or less and 10 billion by 2030 or earlier.

In the next 10 to 15 years there is going to be major issue's around food and water security and that is here in Australia, oversea's are worst off again....

Yeh, I reckon Baroon had dropped 15 foot in the month since I had last been there.
