Vehicle restrictions at Mossman Gorge

This alert applies to the following parks:

    Daintree National Park
    Mossman Gorge, Daintree National Park

Cairns Regional Council will be conducting causeway reconstruction work on Mossman Gorge Road in June 2012.
Mossman Gorge will be closed to all vehicles on Monday 4 June. Visitors can park at the Mossman Gorge Community and walk about 1 km to the day-use area.
From 5 to 11 June, vehicles (cars, 4WDs and coaster buses) can access Mossman Gorge via a bypass track, but heavy vehicles will not be permitted.
