Yella Trip with a PB Cod
« on: October 26, 2013, 02:37:54 PM »
Gday again , Been a fair while since i have posted a report and with the trip i had on thursday i thought i better put one  up  :D
Got a call from an old mate to take a day off to go exploring with another old mate i have not fished with since i was a teenager.
We set off to our destination and arrived just on light, we paddled about 3 klms to get to a spot that has worked for me before.
My mate Richmond was on first with a spirited lil silver which was a first for him  8)
My other mate Paul was on as well and he landed a PB yella going 50cm  :)) What a start and richmond was on again this time with his first yella  8) All this happened in a few minutes and i was paddling to take pics of their fish. i stopped and decided to down size my lure to match the others lures. this payed off as over the next 30 or so mins i land 4 yellas and a PB cod going 65cm  :thumbsup
It was a magic start and as it slowed we explored some more water and i continued to land yellas off random snags. Richmond landed another 2 yellas , and just before we headed home i clipped pauls yella with a 51cm hehehe
Tally for the day was 13 yellas and 1 cod between us and many fish that skunked us in timber.
Look foward to going back out for another crack at the yellas  :youbeauty

Wes, I was almost thinking you were Wilson (the neighbor from Tim The Toolman TV show). Couldn't see half your face in the first few, but good to see you with a smile on your dial in the last couple mate.
