Night Fishing.

Hey fishermen/women, I want to go night fishing this weekend, just trying something new but I have no prior expirence and promised the kids they would catch a fish :P need your help guys. I'm situated in Ipswich  :youbeauty

I have heard (not sure how true) from a friend  you catch some pretty big catfish and eels at colleges crossing on a falling  high tide at nite. Preferably around  8-9 pm mark worked best he said.

When I live at Karalee, I would often go down to Colleges Crossing with a plug caster or fly rod at night. The tarpon were often good fun on the run out tide. At night you occasionally got sharked, even caught a shark on surface paddler there one night. Hooked it in the eye...



Be mindful it is bass closed season at the moment BTW. Catch one bass and you need to change location & change fishing style.
