After a lot of exploration on the water, on foot, by car and of course Google Earth I finally found the creek I was looking for. Now I don't believe that in this day and age any creek is truly secret; it's more about how much trouble you are willing to go to in order to get there and fish it. To this point myself and a couple of mates have been in there a few times now, and each time we have come across some of the hardest fighting Bass any of us have ever experienced. We've been busted off by fish we didn't even get a look at, but the ones we have managed to get to the boat have been a decent size. No 60cm fish, not even a 50 yet but a range of sizes from around 40 on down. But as the saying goes, "it's not size of the dog in the fight, it's size of the fight in the dog"
This creek is riddled with snags and every one of them screams FISH. IT's a long way up here from the salt so the bigger post spawn fish are yet to get all the way up. When they do, we will be there.

John,
Next time you go give me a shout - I will VERY happily carry all your gear, as long as I am not blind folded!!!

Won't work it's one of those hands up against the car and spread 'em things where you get searched for everything including a pencil.
