How you all going.
Got this kayak of a mate for 100$ . Nothing  flash but im happy with that for first rig. Looking at getting a basic fish finder/depth sounder . Its great to get around skinny water at local spot. Went to branch creek park the other day targeting golden perch under bridge and along standing timber . Got the soft roof racks from auto barn 85$ .
Cheers joseph

Have you got a fish tank in the lounge room too? You might catch more than we are getting at Big W (^_^)

Been down to bremer river a few times. Got a bass on last day of season . Fishing from kayak just below rapids. Used  pillchard on unwieghted hook. I watched him hit it 3 times before hooked up and all hell broke loose a 40cm wild river bass that lives in fast flowing water battling me on 6 pound line . Released straight after . Previously caught one on kokoda cicada. And lost a jitter bug in lagoon part the fish hit then snapped leader .. . I think it was something  big  . Have not been down there really scence  closed season. But yeah I'm really looking forward to catching a big bass in wivenhoe. Have never caught one in lake.
Cheers Joseph
