Title: Big W kayak launch spots

G'day all,

With nothing on tmw  :)  I'm going out to Wivenhoe dam for a scout/ landbased fish.  Is there any places that are easy to launch a kayak from and have calm waters??

As i'm fairly new to kayak fishing i'm not too keen on battling choppy conditions.  Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated

Oops, just saw this.  I hope you found Logan's Inlet OK.

Yes it was great little area to launch.

  We were only there for a hour and half but only managed the smallest catfish i have ever seen (7.5cm just)  Plenty surface activity   :)  So hopefully next time with abit more time i can catch something instead of losing lures  :'(
