Title: Fish Restocking / Acclimatisation Board
Post by: Sweetwater on September 18, 2010, 10:44:21 PM
We have set this discussion board up for general questions and discussions on fish restocking.

It is a great place for fish restocking groups to promote your group, advertise meeting times and notify the general public of what is happening in your part of the world.

There's a group based around the Rathdownie area that stock the Albert River.
I've not had much to do with them but I think they used to run the CarpBusters Comp at one stage there. Can try ot track down contact details for you.

Maroon Moogerah Fish Management Association.  Probably could track down a phone number and/or contact person for you if you have trouble locating such info.

These blokes stock Clarrie Hall dam, at the southern end of the "scenic rim", and Crystal Waters on the Gold Coast.

Good bunch of blokes.

LAFMA, which is the Logan area Fish management association, which was formally carp busters! They have a website, which I can't attach here as I am on my tablet. They are easy to find. Just type LAFMA into google, and you should find them. They are stocking both The Logan and Albert rivers and their tributarys with Bass and Mary River Cod, when fingerlings are available. As well as stocking Wyaralong dam west of Beaudesert. They still run carp comps every year on Wyaralong which is infested with them. They are always looking for new members, so look them up.
Here is a link to their website, which I hope will post here. https://sites.google.com/site/loganalbertfishmanagementass/home

Pills, that website probably has not been updated since 2010.

Current website if anyone is looking for it

Or search LAFMA on Stalk Book
