If only the government didnt cream off an admin fee. Saw the rangers at Hinze installing this sign at Hinze eastern arm today.
Great to see as every permit helps. Cheers Ray

Interesting stats Dale, that's a fairly serious sum of money. JD

Ray, without the Admin fee, how do you think they would be able to erect the signs?
Before you jump up and down about the salaries. That amount would not cover three qualified people when you take superannuation, taxes and workers' compensation into account. I don't see anthing in there for fuel or vehicle running expenses either. This is the best system in the country, and possibly the world for maintaining a native fishery. IMHO

Dale in a perfect world there would be no admin charges and the admin would be just a part of the normal Deedi budget, maybe i am just greedy and want to see all the dollars go into stocking. From speaking to a couple of people in Deedi I think that there is a fair bit of undercharging going on already. I always try and talk people into buying a yearly permit and to buy it on line to try and get maximium dollars for restocking with minium overheads but realise that the local tackle stores and other outlets that sell the permits need people to come into their stores. Cheers Ray
