Title: Braids & Gelspun Superlines by Rod Harrison
Post by: aussiebasser on September 21, 2011, 11:29:23 AM
Hot off the AFN presses is Harro's latest book, with a foreword by Lefty Kreh and illustrations by Trevor Hawkins.  I've been itching to get my hands on a copy since I heard about this book quite some time ago.  Many years in the writing, it is the definitive work on understanding Braided lines.  Being written by one of Recreational Fishing's best story tellers the technicalities of braids is softened with anecdotes that keep it entertaining.  Anybody with any interest in the evolution of Superlines should grab this book and absorb as much as possible from it.  From rigging techniques to knots and leaders, this book covers it.  All I can say is Harro has yet again brought out a book worthy of the rack in my little office at home.
Available through the Australian Fishing Network, P.O. Box 544 Croydon, Vic.  3136, or sales@afn.com.au
Thanks Harro.
