Title: Hinze Dam continues its rise

Went for a cruise on Lake Advancetown today and got the mate to get us down near the Hinze spillway which is presently at -1.20m [10am Tues] from the top, and here are pics of spillway and the saddle dam

If the weather keeps going, wont be long before the Hinze boys see their stocked fish going the same the rest of us have been watching our fish go for the last 3 years!

This picture shows a real closeup and you can see the impression of the ply sheets [that are 1200mm wide] that really emphasize how close it is to the top.

Also travelling down the arms now, the bank is generally quite steep now, so for 1 metre of rise, it can only spread about 3-4m horizontally across the arm before water pushes to the wall, and right now Little Nerang Dam is  spilling into Hinze.
