Spillway Lookout at Wivenhoe Dam closed Sunday 18 May
14 May 2014 - SEQWater advises the following:

The Spillway Lookout at Lake Wivenhoe will be closed to the public on Sunday 18 May 2014 to accommodate a private event. Other recreation areas at Lake Wivenhoe will not be affected by the closure.

Picnic facilities are available at Cormorant Bay, Lake Wivenhoe Information Centre, Logan Inlet, Hamon Cove, O’Shea’s Crossing and Branch Creek recreation areas.

Canoes and kayaks can be launched onto the lake at Logan Inlet and O’Shea’s Crossing recreation areas, or onto the Brisbane River at other entry points further downstream from Wivenhoe Dam.
