Been planning on a 2-3 night stop-over at Theresa Creek Dam (north of Emerald) at the end of this month (heading up to Lake Tinaroo for a few weeks).
I 've not previously stayed at or fished Theresa, so just wondering if anyone here has been to the lake recently or
is able to shed some light on what to expect . I've heard that the bush camp beside the lake is quite nice but that's about it.
Any info would be much appreciated. :)

I haven't been there in years now. The new facilities now get very good reviews. Can't really help much more than that.

Might be to long ago, but I was out there in January this year and the fishing was bloody awful. Got enough redclaw to keep the interest up a bit. In 4 days I never saw another boat with a fishing rod in it, few people soaking bait off the bank at the camp grounds but don't think anything was caught. Have heard they all went over the wall.
Cheers Shaun

Thanks Shaun
I guess that's why I'm unable to find any current "fishy" reports
Not to worry ::) should be a pleasant stop-over none the less.
I really don't mind kick'n back over a feed of redclaw and a cold beer. ;)
