Daughter finally broke the 50cm mark on North Pine dam this morning with a 52!
She was wrapped, once she caught her breath enough to talk!

Then I got a nice little yella, but the rain set in, daughter was getting grumpy, so we had to leave them biting.

I was nearby when she pulled it in. Quite a tussle for a while as to who was going to pull who in. The looks on both Dads and Daughters faces were pure gold.
Cheers

Well done Andrew and congratulations to your daughter ;)
Something we all aspire to do, the magic 50cm mark.
Tell her she better put her game face on we all meet at Borumba at the end of the month ;D
Looks like she handled the fish like a true professional the way she is holding up that trophy Bass for the photo although I reckon she's caught her fare share of 'em too and has been taught well.
What did she catch it on???
Cheers Dave

Pretty proud moment too hey Pop!
Three generations fishing together enjoying such a momentous occasion, doesn't get better than that, although the weather could have been better.
Great to see you all enjoying your fishing.

Cheers everybody,
Dave, was caught on a live shrimp on a no 4 mustad (wide mouth, circle) hook on 6 lb mono leader.
Yeah she struggled, I'm there giving her the "come on, you know how to hold a rod properly lecture" as she was getting towed up and down the boat. Then I saw the fish!
