Ok, finally worked out how to load pics - just didn't seem to like me 'Previewing' them  :-\

Pics are typical Wivenhoe fish we've caught since the dam opened to 4 strokes - heaps of schooling Yellas about the same size in the pic, rarer couple of nice bass and a stonker 16lb yella .... caught on Mini or Shallow Tonks flat trolled and downrigged :thumbsup

Cheers

Rob

Some nice Bronze and Gold there Rob, you seem to have that downrigging for Natives sussed  :thumbsup

That Shallow Tonk reminds me of a lure I have seen before  ;)

Cheers Brad

Hi Brad - absolutely, the bib on the Shallow Tonk was all your idea to get maximum action but shallow depth, just applied it to the Tonks and we're up and away :thumbsup

Gives you a great downrigging solution that allows the lure to follow the plane of the bomb ....

Cheers

Well done Rob,

Good specimens, different colourations might reflect the habitat they tend to stay in I guess.

Never used lures for bass, I would not know what lure brand, weight or colour works on them, all I ever used was live shrimp.

Cheers, Bondy
