Skeeter Boats and Movies on the Macquarie at Lake Burrendong Classic!
“Movies along the Macquarie” have this week announced that they will be screening the feature film “Avatar” on the Saturday night of the 2011 Lake Burrendong Classic catch and release fishing competition. Riversmart CEO Dr. Bill Phillips said the initiative will be a first for Lake Burrendong, with all children and families welcome to bring along a camping chair, picnic blanket and some snacks to enjoy this fantastic film under the stars.
The huge outdoor movie screen, complete with state of the art outdoor sound system, with light up as soon as darkness falls on the Saturday night of the Lake Burrendong Classic, giving both competitors and families a chance to sit back, relax and socialise after the first day of competition fishing.
The Lake Burrendong Classic will also see The Skeeter SX range of boats on display, with Canobolas Caravan and Marine Centre welcoming the impressive range of ultimate sports fishing boats to their show room floor. Those interested will be able to take a ride in the Skeeter demo boat, and witness the ultimate in fishing comfort for themselves. Skeeter boats have long been established in both the recreational and professional fishing circles as one of the best Bass, Bream and Barra fibre glass sports fishing boats available, and with their new home here in the central west anglers will now have the opportunity to tap into the latest fishing and boating technology available.
