Cooby Dam reopens to boating tomorrow

Toowoomba Regional Council today advised that Cooby Dam at Loveday Cove will reopen to boating from 9am tomorrow, Thursday.
An easing of wet weather has reduced the Cooby Dam level to below 100mm above the spillway, making it safe to reopen for recreational boating.
Barricades are expected to be removed tomorrow morning (March 7) with the dam expected to be available for boating from 9am.
Cressbrook and Perseverance Dams remain closed due to the volume of water flowing over their spillways.
