toddo:
Hey guys, need help on a motor. would there be much difference speed wise between a 115 h.o or a 130 both etecs because ive heard that the 115 h.o is rated to about 126 hp? any info or input would be great.

Cheers :-\

sorry i havent had any experience with larger outboards but wow man anything over 100 hp is a thumper

Brad H:
Toddo,
outright speed is dependent on many factors, but 130 should be faster on the same hull if the hull is designed and rated to 130hp.

Only if it's running a higher pitch prop.

Toddo,

A bit of research of some of the ETEC sites might help, here is just one blog on the 115 from a quick search, hope this is helpful.
