An eight-year-old girl has been drowned at Lake Dyer, in the Lockyer Valley.
The girl was reported missing by her parents about 3.30pm Sunday.
She was found unconscious in the Laidley waterway near a boat ramp shortly afterwards.
Paramedics worked for more than an hour to try to revive the girl but she was prounced dead about 4.50pm.
She was rushed to Laidley Hospital by ambulance but was pronounced dead on arrival.Sorry, only registered users can see this content. Please Login or Register.
