Camden 120
« on: April 25, 2011, 12:20:47 AM »
Here's my new toy from USoA an Old Town Camden 120 sit in.
This is the recreational version as opposed to the Angler version as I want to add the rod holders where I want, and at an angle suited to me.
Will be adding a fish finder this week to round out the sweetwater dedicated rig.

Cheers,

Fitzy..

It is a nice looking yak Fitzy!

Do you mind posting up a few pictures please when you have rigged your rod holders and F/Finder. Just keen to see your position which best suits you.

Cheers Dave

Not sure.... It's ready to roll apart from the fish finder (which I won't need where I'm going). Aussie made anchor system is done. (no not the one you think, the other one)

Just not sure I'm ready scratch it up shooting down the rocky descent yet... :'( Maybe the Dirigo or Pack will get another run.

Leave it in the shed mate.  I'll save you the stress of scratchin' it up while you're away.

Gave the Camden a good breaking in on the weekend. It performed great on the Severn River. The first fish to get caught out of it was a mid 60s cod followed by a 72cm cod. A nice way to break it in.  :youbeauty

Pics to come in the next couple of days.

Yep, it worked a treat up that area you've been to. The anchor system worked perfectly, makes fishing a dream. Except when the wind is going one way with more force than the current, then you kind of hang "side on", but still holds well.
