G'day Craig how is Queensland? The Zonker version of the fly is based on a fly called a "Jailbait". The original fly does not have the sub collar.
I will post a couple of shots next week of a smaller bass version of this fly. The one pictured is certainly in the realms of bigger bass but the smaller version is a gem.
