Deception Shrimp
« on: September 29, 2010, 10:41:29 AM »
Gents, looking for any decpetion shrimps that one would be willing to part with. Not really caring about paint quality just so long as the bib is in good condition and the body is not badly punctured etc. Got a favourite colour for yellowbelly and only one of now. It was rare to start with from what I noticed and would like a few more lures to repaint in this colour scheme so I have lures to use in the future.

Cheers
Stephan

G'Day Stephan,

Ironically, I just found an old timber one at a country tackle store in Victoria last week. Sorry, cant part with this one tho.

Paul Kneller made a good lure. Good luck with your search.  :)

Yeah Fitz, certainly not asking for wooden ones, too rare and too valuable. I'll be sure to look around the traps during my various travels to see what I can find. Don't know what it is about them but they just seem to be so effective at catching yellowbelly. Then again they were pretty much born on Windamere so that explains a lot.
