Body of man located at Eungella Dam

Members of the police dive squad located the body of a man in Eungella Dam this evening.

 A search of the dam had been underway since November 15, when a 49-year-old man was reported missing after the kayak he was in capsized around 4.30pm.

A woman who was also on the kayak managed to swim to shore.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
