Although not as hot a bite as last Saturday arvo , still was great fun with 15 landed for a couple of hours spinning . We both managed to get some 50's , our lagest went 54cm.

Cheers,
Dave.

Great shots mate, there are some good fish coming out of the river by all the reports.

Could you let me know just how clear that water was.  It looks like most rivers still have quite a bit of colour in them.

By the way, thay are not Alisons legs in the photographs are they ?

Not you too Gordon , you're as bad as Steve regarding the legs mate .

The river is marginally better than it was a month or 2 ago with its clarity,  but SeqWater have increased the flow rate in the last week or so . I doubt that you could see your hand at elbow depth . It is running 2ft higher than it was . There are plenty of Bass , though some days are better than others and the catties have virtually disappeared from the end of the lures . Last Saturday arvo was one of my best sessions I have had since the trukey shoot began , its going to be hard for the next 3 months leaving them alone.

Cheers,
Dave.

Amazing how many shorebased anglers are unaware of the bass closed season .If the fisheries boys were like traffic cops and their speeding fines , they would get their quota of issued fines for the month in the first week of June .

Cheers,
Dave.
