Hi I'm under the impression that enoggera is stocked? Any further information about this since your last post?

Was at enoggera dam a couple of weeks back canoeing around the lake with a friend of mine. As far as i'm aware one is allowed to fish there but I don't think it has been stocked with sportfish. That is not to say other common species do not exist in the lake. It is well over 100 years old and there would probably be eels, catfish (jew), freshwater mullet, spangled perch and others that have been introduced in all the time the lake has existed. It is quite a pristine area considering its proximity to a major city and we saw a family carrying rods to the waters edge to try their luck. When the weather warms I will take bait or some lures and give it a go. When we were paddling around the other day we saw a lot of swirls and splashes that could of been fish------maybe lungfish which I believe are in the lake. Nice picnic area and a good morning out.
