Post by: Novice on October 08, 2010, 09:40:37 AM
After seeing all these snake pics on this site , I thought I would add my 2 cents worth. Here's one of my puppies ( relax I am a licenced keeper ). :P

Cheers,
Dave.

Nice adder Dave.

Do you know Denver Kulogowski from Scales & Tails mag? He lives not far from you.

Thats a very pretty and healthy looking specimen.

Not sure I would like to accidentally step on it in the wild though. :OMG

It was one of those snakes that I believe has contributed to my phobia. I was about seven years old & my sister & I were up the paddock playing while mum was working in the grape patch.
I decided to rest a while on an old fallen down gum tree, as I was sitting there I could hear, something moving around in the hollow log under my butt, as I looked down between my legs this Death Adder about 30 cm long was curled up in the hollow log :OMG

Mum ended up coming to the rescue & the poor old snake lost its head to a pair of secateurs.

Cheers Andrew
