Rylstone Dam - Rylstone. NSW

 

Rylstone Dam is a picturesque lake made by the construction of a weir on the upper Cudgegong River. It is located north east of Rylstone.

Fishing
General Bag & Size Limits apply. A NSW Fishing Licence is required.
Golden Perch, Murray Cod, Silver Perch, Eel-Tailed Catfish and Rainbow Trout and can be caught in Rylstone Dam.
Stocked Fish
Golden Perch, Murray Cod, Rainbow Trout & Silver Perch.

Boating
Boating is permitted on Dunns Swamp. Canoe / Kayak fishing is popular here.
A boat ramp is provided. Speed limit if four (4) knots applies.
There is a launching area near dam wall which is down a steep bank making more suited to canoes / kayaks than small tinnies.

Camping
Camping is permitted in designated areas only.
Hotel / Motel style accommodation is available in Rylstone and Kandos. See Accommodation page for details.

Facilities
Toilets (disabled access), wood BBQs, non-potable drinking water, bins are walking trails are provided.
