Kurumbul Homestead
« on: March 28, 2012, 07:21:13 PM »
Anyone had a look at a place called Kurumbul Homestead at Yelarbon? It's got plenty of camping and is on the Dumaresq from what I can make out. If it's any good it would make a good venue for a Sweetwater get together if such a thing was being considered.

Not a bad spot at all. I have called in once before many years ago. It was about 35km's from where we lived. I had thoughts of using the facilities for the Gundy Boars end of season, mad Monday weekend. We opted to camp at the one of the many reserves a little further west along the same road though.  :youbeauty

Thanks fella's, I may have to go up there some time and check it out. Gundy Boars Bracy? That has the distinct ring of a cultured weekend to me.
Cheers,
JD

THanks Starlo, I'll see if I can get a phone number. I'm heading North for most of May but when I get back it'll be west for me.
Cheers,
JD

When you click on this link JD, you'll find a map. Keep minimising the map to find several locations a little west of Goondiwindi, however a lot more locations east of the township.
