First for the day

G'day Folks. Ana and I have been mostly out of action for a while due to a number of reasons, but recently stayed a couple of nights at Ewen Maddock Dam. I was hoping for Toga, but alas, it was not to be. Mind you, I heard a hell of a 'swoosh' directly behind me and looked around to see a huge boil. Perhaps a Toga? Are there Lungfish in E M ?
With all the rain, we didn't go out much. The caravan is new, and we just enjoyed kicking back, stuffing our faces and watching movies from the hard drive.
We only got out for about an hour and a half on day one, and Ana caught 4 small bass. I caught ... um ... ah .... um ..... oh never mind.
Day 2 saw us on the dam for about 2 hours, during which time we copped some rain. I was doing slightly better that day, leading by one bass to nil, until she finally evened the score. Naturally, hers was bigger than mine. You might think my pride would be hurt, but after 10 years of fishing with this little woman, I don't have any pride left to hurt. She almost always outfishes me.
