Bass and Yellas and some great company....
« on: June 22, 2014, 09:33:14 PM »
Yep they are there, went today. The Parking at the Boat ramp at eight o'clock in the morning was overflowing almost. there was four spots left, amazing the dam is starting to be used more.
Steven and I both caught Bass and Yellowbelly. Yes the Bass are tough to find, we caught ours trolling. Serious lock Jaw if we found a school and tried jigging. It wasn't until 12 noon before the fog lifted and then we found some yellas. A fun day with good company with some fish thrown in, that's what its all about for me. I think Steven maybe buying a boat.  :youbeauty

Good to see you got some.  What's the new boat Sel?  Looks a bit like a Clitrex.

Cool, my little boat is a Proline.  They come out of the same factory as the Quinnie which is why I recognised the extrusions.   It should be a good outfit with the 30 on it.

Well done fellas,

Glassy conditions I would expect after the fog lifted.

I'll have to find myself a cheap tinny to get out on the dam, maybe 3.8m Bluefin or similar.
