I have emailed all the Councillors and reposted this on a few web sites and Facebook pages. I have already had replies from a Councillor. It doesn't look good at the moment. We need lots and lots of people to contact Councillors. It's almost as if the Somerset Council don't want tourism.
Let me guess. A knee jerk reaction to that guy getting bashed there? Maybe they are worried about a lawsuit? What do they have to gain by closing access? Has the sailing club given up their lease? Or are they just getting booted out?Too many questions and not enough answers.
They don't want to spend $43k on bridge maintenance so they're voting on shutting the bridge to save the coin.
