Greeted by perfect overcast conditions. Covered most of the dam, fish few and far between on the sounder. Lapped the entire main basin and couldn't hook the ones I did find. Few tentative hits on a red/black spinnerbait, no surface action. Ahh well, pretty good way to spend 4 hours. Dam was empty of people, only counted 4 boats and 2 yaks that were heading out as I came in.

I've found these two websites very helpful trying to work out wind. The Maroon one shows beaudesert and the other the bay. And looking around at different places such as Ipswich etc, you can get a fair idea on when the wind is going to hit where and when.
I figured that I had the morning until about 11-12midday before the coast wind hit the dam.
Bang on 11.30 the wind came up from the south, love it when ideas come together, if only I could work out the fish like that lol.
