nice work, how where you out to catch him??
Good catch Wes! How far up the Brissie?SB8
i have chased the sharks in the bremer and brisbane river since i was a kid, they are great sport on light spin out fits and every summer the numbers in the upper tidal sections of both systems increases dramatically . live herring, silver biddies, bonies, mullet and chunks of fresh water eel do the trick. 9/0 circle hook on 90lb nylon coated wire 50cm long swivel 60lb mono leader 60cm then mainline 20lb braid.
Do you use a float of any sort to keep it higher up in the water colums???
Certainly am I want to try something landbased instead of taking the yak out chasing bass (only productive way ) while being close to ippy.
The Brisbane / Bremer junction on a run out tide.... works a treat land based.
Wow thats awsome I have been trying to hook one of these for ages. is this near the junction? Also how do you and were do you get the live bait want to get one of these so bad. spent may hours in the tinnie with no luck
