Hinz or Wivenhoe

I live in between both and I never seem to have any luck at Hinz. Anyone got any spots they want to share with me?

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope

how did u go mate? we made it out to hamon cove , got lots of small grunters , and a medium forktail catfish , pretty sure i seen a bass take something on surface near boat ramp , but got my lure snaged on the sticks in water ,got it back and packed up. a small boat /kayak would be ideal there .

Ended up heading just to kholo bridge. I posted a report. Had a couple of pretty good hits but just couldn't hook up. Might head back out there this afternoon if the weather holds up.

Nice, yeah I usually use green or fluro yellow. I always like using the TN/60 Jackalls. I have also been using this new brand called "hiroma champion" its a new crew from Japan, they are apparently all the hype over there at the moment.

Grab yourself a purple predatek boomerang 65. Or a spinner bait, fish them hard up in the snags nice and slow. Slow roll the predatek with some twitches along the way and pause it from time to time..

Lots of reports about of bass being caught in Hinze, I've not seen to many reports for Wivanhoe.

If you want some pointers for Hinze PM rayke1938, he has been doing well there of late.  H will likely have a deckie spot going in the new year and you can tag along.
