I had a good day myself nailing 3 cod on surface with a Pompodore. The first time I have had any success on surface apart from my very first cod trip a few years ago now.

It's a good hole that one. Worth the effort to get to.

80 is a great size to start with.

Gunna need a bigger mat.

Thanks heaps Wayne, for taking me, for showing me the good spots and letting me have first crack at them, and for being such a good sport in general. I had a great time, and the smile just won't go away. Ana added up the cost in lost wages for that one fish and said it was an expensive fish. I replied that it's just as well I didn't catch as many as you .... I couldn't afford it.  ;D
