No swimming is permitted however fishing is. You never know what could be lurking in there.......

Yeah I know whats lurking in there - coz I stock it! Bass, yella's, silvers and mary cod have gone in there.
Might be a bit thin after the recent rain and floods though.

Due for a dose of Silvers this sunday actually.

Here's the sight that greets visitors to Woodford Lake now. Locked gates & no public entry signs.... It would appear that any future stocking is a waste of time, effort and money. A haven has just been created for the Tilapia and Pearl Cichlids trapped in there.

Pretty disappointing to see yet another public fishing location closed.

Not impressed. Always thought the Council owned it.
Not that it matters, no money to put more fingerlings in anyway.........

Its all just getting to be to hard. My new Hobbie.

Typical of the heavy handed ways of SEQWATER of late ,I see the wall is no longer available to fish from in lake kawongba and is being policed by seqwater rangers
