Boating
Ben Chifley Dam is open to all forms of boating.
A boating permit is required, these can be obtained from the on-site ranger.
There is a speed limit of 8 knots around the dam wall, and upstream of McQueens Island.
Boat ramp provided near dam wall.

Camping
Camping is permitted, however little facilities are provided.
