Manchester opened to paddling and fishingPaddling and fishing on Lake Manchester is now permitted, a direct result of the feedback we received during the recreation review. Due to the topography and access limitations around the lake, the launch point is located over 1km from the recreation area and car park. Travel to the launch point by vehicle is not feasible and paddlers are required to transport their equipment to and from the launch point by foot, via the recreation area located off Lake Manchester Road. Paddling at Lake Manchester will be more challenging compared to other sites and will require a good level of fitness. Those looking for a fitness adventure, this may be for you!Enjoy putting a line in? Fishing is permitted from the shoreline of the launch area and from paddle craft. Please remember that motorised watercraft and swimming are prohibited at Lake Manchester. For further information on Lake Manchester, including a list of permitted activities, visit the Seqwater website to download your copy of the Lake Manchester Recreation Guide.
Has the MSG been in there before?
