Lake
Belmore was built in 1995 to supply town water to Croydon.
When full it holds 5800 mega litres of water with a surface
area of 118 hectares at an average depth of 4.9 meters.
Fish present
Barramundi, Sooty Grunter, Striped Sleepy Cod and Spangled
Perch.
There
is an annual fishing competition at Lake Belmore, check

· Pontoons, Boat Ramp and sealed circular driveway
around facility,
· Free electric barbeques under a huge shade structure
with lights,
· Childrens Playground under shade cloth cover,
· Modern Ablution Block - showers and toilets,
· Cafeteria utilised by local Clubs and Groups for
Events,
· Designated areas for swimming, skiing and canoeing.
